Last week we had the pleasure of a morning with journalist Jacquie Morley from The Blackpool Gazette. We talked about all things The Old Rock Factory and about the workshops now available.
In tonights paper there is a fantastic write up over two pages (pg 10 and 11!) here is a sneak preview!

Preparation

Today at The Rock Factory we have been getting the information booklets printed ready for the people who have signed up to a workshop! We want to make the workshop experience as unique as possible so all of the design, print and delivery will be done by both Robin Ross and Linzi Cason. 

We have also been approached by numerous groups to do the workshop so things are busy, busy, busy here this week!

 

Test Day

Today we had a quick run through of the course so that we can identify any problems we may have along the way and found it to run perfect!
We are really happy with the results as we took these photos with a mobile phone camera. This shows us any camera can be used on the course no matter how basic or advanced.
Here is what we did and what you can expect on the course!

First we took some photos in Blackpool town centre 

Then we created paper negatives

Then we screen printed them

Then we god all excited at the results..and had a brew!

The first sessions include a combination of photography and screen printing, all under one roof and for only £55.00.
